Factory Reset iPhone 15 Pro Max

Using Recovery Mode

A factory reset also called as a master reset deletes all the content and settings on your iPhone 15 Pro Max, including apps, contacts and music. In case you do not have the password and want to do a hard restore, one has to use a computer with iTunes (on the Windows or older versions of macOS) or Finder (on macOS Catalina and later). Here’s how to do it:

LinkedIn your iPhone to a computer using a USB cable.

Open the iTunes or Finder on your Mac:

Put your iPhone into Recovery Mode:

While holding the Sleep/Wake button tap the Volume Up button two time rapidly. Press the Volume Down button twice as fast. Now, press and hold the Side button until you see the recovery mode screen of your iPhone – the one with the cable going into a computer.

Track Your iPhone in the iTunes or Finder on your PC. A message that will pop up will be like, this iPhone has an issue that may require an update or a restore.

Choose “Restore”

This will update the new version of iOS and will also delete all the data of your iPhone including the settings. Every data stored on the iPhone will be deleted.

Once the process is over, your iPhone will reboot and you now get to set it up as new.
